" Thirteen of us (8 adults and 3 children) came for Sunday lunch last weekend at your restaurant to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday. This was our second visit to Eddie Gilberts. Once again nothing was too much trouble and we had an excellent meal. Nick and James looked after us very, very well.
Please congratulate all your staff. If anyone knows of a better restaurant in East Kent I would be very surprised. Well Done! "

" Without a doubt the finest restaurant my wife and I have eaten in anywhere. To Nick and James also the highest praise; these two work like trojans yet can be discreet, extremely good natured and very courteous to all.
The food is stunning on every occasion and of the highest high standard, Jay Rainer had it absolutely right. I trained as a chef and worked in many places including the Midland Hotel Manchester, County Hotel Canterbury, Bow Window Littlebourne and others but I never reached these levels, I would never have thought to put Turbot with Belly pork, my main last night, but my goodness it worked for me, last night was our third visit and came away once again very full, very satisfied very happy and slightly pickled, (it was our wedding anniversary)that last comment applied only to me I hasten to add.
The Christmas menu is now being studied.
Our Daughter was the first to eat there with a party of 30 and were awed by it, our last was with a party of 6 if our Xmas plans work out they'll have to put tables and chairs on the rooftop outside.
Again, praise at the highest level to all concerned, go for the rosettes and stars!!!! "
