Above the fish shop you will find the restaurant, where we can accommodate fifty people in a warm and comfortable environment. The atmosphere is spacious, relaxed and welcoming and the perfect place to bring the family for lunch or enjoy an intimate dinner.

Not just a fish & chip restaurant, on the menu you will always find fresh fish, fried or grilled together with mussels, oysters and seafood platters.
Our chef is Craig Mather, a graduate of Thanet College and Michelin trained at Mallory Park in Warwickshire where he worked for four years.
He is a naturally gifted chef and never fails to deliver perfectly cooked food with flair and imagination. He is already creating an enviable reputation here at Eddie Gilbert’s.

The a la carte menu changes daily reflecting the latest fish catches, but also features several meat and vegetarian dishes, together with some of the chef’s signature dishes.
We offer a special Sunday menu which is 2 courses for £16.95 or 3 courses for £19.95
